Oktoberfest is coming to South Bank. On Friday 16 October from 5pm, Weihenstephaner is taking over our taps and bringing a handpicked selection of their finest straight from Bavaria.
If the name sounds familiar, it should. Weihenstephaner is Germany’s oldest brewery, founded in 1040, and widely considered one of the best wheat beer producers in the world. This isn’t your average tap takeover. It’s a proper tasting event built around beers that have had about a thousand years of practice behind them.
Expect a selection that showcases exactly why Weihenstephaner has been doing this longer than most countries have existed. From their iconic Hefe Weissbier to their broader range, there’s something worth trying in every pour.
