Dark beer season has arrived and we’re marking the occasion properly. On Friday June 19 from 5pm, Tippler’s Tap is hosting a full tap takeover with 7 to 8 rotating dark beers from some of Queensland’s best craft breweries. Think stouts, porters, dark ales and rich winter warmers built for cold nights and long sessions.
Free to attend. Just show up.
Who’s pouring
Seven breweries on the night: Bridge Road, Bright, Slipstream, Common People Brewing, Black Flag Brewing, Brouhaha Brewing and Archer Brewing. A serious lineup of Queensland craft names, all pouring from the one bar in South Bank.

Whether you’re a dark beer loyalist who knows your stout from your porter, or you’re just keen to try something new on a Friday night, this is the event for it. Work your way through the taps, grab some wings and settle in for a proper winter session.
Kicks off at 5pm. Free entry. Get in early for the first pick of the taps.
